Bachelor's in Computer Science applied in German

I graduated from Transilvania University's Mathematics and Informatics Faculty with high honors, achieving a perfect 10 on my exams and web programming project (Symfony 6.1) for my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science applied in German.

By simplifying the CV creation process, the application aims to alleviate the challenges faced by individuals with limited technical knowledge or resources. Moreover, the application embraces modern practices in the internet employment domain, offering solutions to existing problems.

It facilitates the transition from conventional email-based CV sending to cloud storage, resolving inefficiencies and obstacles related to file management and sharing. Additionally, the adoption of QR code business cards tackles the shortcomings of traditional paper business cards, enabling easy access to comprehensive CV information in today's digital era. Furthermore, the application recognizes the need for seamless integration with recruitment company platforms. Through API integration, it bridges the gap between job seekers and recruiters, streamlining interactions and enhancing the efficiency of the recruitment process.

In summary, the application tackles the complexities of CV creation, sharing, and editing, while simultaneously addressing problems in the internet employment landscape. It simplifies the process for users, revolutionizes CV distribution methods, replaces outdated business card practices, and facilitates seamless API integration with recruitment platforms.

Senior PHP Developer with Symfony

As a senior PHP Developer with Symfony at Travelio, I am focusing on developing and maintaining dynamic web applications for our clients (such as Karpaten) in the travel industry. My role involves leveraging Symfony framework to create robust solutions aligned with the company's objectives, complete overhauls to the platform's old interfaces into modern designs while also upgrading legacy code, finding and fixing performance and/or infrastructure loopholes, and improving internal flows for the dev team.

As part of my previous role, I was responsible for managing pre-existing web applications and their states to meet the needs of end-customers. This involved administering the respective databases, addressing small errors as they arose, and resolving occasional data inconsistency or mismatch issues. Moreover, I led the development process for creating new web applications, catering to both internal usage and our primary clients, such as Yanfeng International Automotive.

Full Stack Web Developer with Symfony

Development and expansion of web platforms for companies based on their new needs using Symfony 4+ framework. I am responsible for designing the database architecture and its execution in versioned migrations according to the client's requirements. Additionally, I handle the creation and revision of routes and requests in accordance with CRUD standards, the development of backend logic, and ensuring the correct implementation of model relationships between the application and the database. As part of a remote team of people from all over the world, I am working in a somewhat Agile environment, integrating GIT versioning tools and other project and team management tools.

Notable projects:

Drinks of the World: Symfony 4.x - Expansion of the base application to create an internal sub-platform aimed at evaluating employees on their knowledge of work protocols and other skills based on different quizzes and exercises. As the company owned many franchises, the application had to be scaled to properly work with a lot of different languages and time zones out of the box. It also had to manage the large number of employees, all of whom would need to use the platform. (Finished, full project cycle)

Alaia Bay: Symfony 6.x - Creation of a brand new web application with the purpose of completely automating the booking process for all the available beach sporting modules. The design includes a system that collects, holds, and analyzes user data, generating a fully detailed report once a year (or whenever asked) about where the booking process can be further optimized (some classes last longer, some are more popular and booked more), and how to better organize the schedule for the next year or season in such a manner that the company will reach the maximum profit margins possible. Full Stack Web Developer with Symfony

I initially developed multiple basic websites at the request of my clients, using vanilla technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These websites were mostly intended for either e-commerce and/or product showcase. More recently, I collaborated with many companies (mostly from the USA) to create, maintain, and/or tweak web applications that meet their business needs.

Notable projects:

The Vette Net: Symfony 4.x - Complete overhaul of their pre-existing web application, which was unfortunately initially made by an inexperienced developer, leaving a lot of problems and, worse, security issues in the system. As of today, the application is up and running, and the owners were very pleased with my initial work. We are still collaborating to further improve their services and bring new functionalities to the users, including a sub-site destined for users to be able to auction live for the already existing listings. (Ongoing, full project cycle).
